Mr SCULLY (GWYDIR, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Commerce) - I assure the honorable member that every attention is being given to the stabilization of the pig industry. I have been in constant touch with representatives of the industry in the different States. A meeting of the joint council of the industry throughout Australia is to be held in Melbourne at an early date. I have asked that representatives of the executive shall meet rae in Canberra. Every phase of the industry will then be discussed, and it will be most sympathetically treated by the Government.
