Mr BEASLEY (West Sydney) . -It is the practice in this Parliament to circulate printed schedules of amendments to bills. I do not know Whether the Assistant Treasurer (Mr. Bruce) is endeavouring to introduce a new procedure. Honorable members should be afforded an opportunity to judge for themselves the real effect of any amendments which are proposed. I understood from the second-reading speeches of honorable members that they desired to make this bill more, and not less, comprehensive. As a protest against the failure of the Government to circulate these amendments, I shall vote against the proposed alteration.
