Mr MARKS asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Has his intention been drawn to the reported sinking- of a Japanese submarine at Kobe, Japan, with the loss of some 130 lives?

2.   Will the Government take into consideration the forwarding of a cable to the Japanese Government expressing the -sympathy of the people of the Commonwealth?
