3592  Senator Denman: To ask the Minister representing the Minister for Health and Aged Care—

(1) Was the Positron Emission Tomography evaluated in the same way as other comparable technologies.

(2) Is the Minister satisfied that all conflict of issues were adequately dealt with; if so, how were they dealt with.

(3) Why was the opinion of the Clinical Trials Centre given as unanimously supported when there is every indication that there were dissenting opinions.

(4) Why is a tendering process being called for at this time when six facilities are already operational, four of which are experienced in data collection.

(5) Can evidence be provided that proves the role of the Supporting Committee was not usurped by the Steering Committee.
