The Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp), by leave, gave a Contingent Notice of Motion, as follows-To move (contingent on the President proceeding to the placing of business on the next day of sitting)-That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Chipp moving a motion to give precedence over other business to the Order of the Day relating to the Government's response to the Report of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence on Defence Co-operation.
