Senator LUDWIG (QueenslandMinister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Manager of Government Business in the Senate and Minister Assisting the Attorney-General on Queensland Floods Recovery) (15:24): There are two things. Firstly, it would not be appropriate to discuss cases currently before the courts. Secondly, in relation to matters that may be sought into the future, it would be a hypothetical question. Obviously people are able to bring challenges to legislation, depending on the nature of the facts and circumstances as the cases arise.
