Senator Faulkner asked the Minister for Finance and Administration, upon notice, on 22 August 2002:

(1) Can the department identify the number of cars provided to members of the House of Representatives from New South Wales, from 1 January 2002 to 31 July 2002, which were changed after delivery because the member was dissatisfied with his or her original order. (2) In each instance, can the department identify the reason for the change. (3) In each instance, can the department identify the vehicle's make and model in the original order, and the replacement vehicle (if the make and model of each vehicle is the same, please identify the differing features between the vehicle originally supplied and the replacement vehicle). (4) In each instance, can the department identify how much the changeover of leasing arrangement cost.
