To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled: The humble petition of we the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth that:

The ever expanding exorbitant interest rates are casting farmers and city dwellers along with their wives and toddlers into dust and mud stricken roads, as they plod along without success, for alternative accommodation.

Your petitioners therefore pray that your House eliminate this outrageous and unjust castigation of our population which is leading to the downfall of this country.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
