(a) condemns the Federal Treasurer's hostile and unsympathetic statement that small business should 'stop begging, and it's time it stopped believing it was a race apart';

(b) notes that small business employees 60 per cent of the private sector work force, and is the greatest job creator in Australia;

(c) notes that small business provides real and lasting jobs, not the Labor- sponsored type of artificial, unproductive Community Employment Program jobs and increased public service jobs that are paid for by the taxpayers of Australia; and

(d) condemns the Labor Government's support for ACTU redundancy and superannuation schemes that will render thousands of small businesses unviable and cost many thousands of workers their jobs.
