Mr KEENAN (4:29 PM) —I will say this for the Assistant Treasurer: he is a lot of wattage on the bottom of the Labor economics ticket. That was probably one of the most impressive job applications that we have ever seen in this place. But let me dispense with some of the snake oil that we are getting from the government about the state of our tremendous economy, the economy that has been called by the economists ‘the wonder down under’. The Howard government delivered record low unemployment. Real household wealth doubled under the period of the Howard government. The Labor Party inherited no debt.
