13 DEATH OF FORMER MEMBER ( the Honourable John Joseph Fahey )
Mr Morrison (Prime Minister) referred to the death of the Honourable John Joseph Fahey AC, and moved—That the House record its deep regret at the death, on 12 September 2020, of the Honourable John Joseph Fahey AC, a former Minister and Member of this House for the Division of Macarthur from 1996 to 2001, place on record its appreciation of his long and meritorious public service, and tender its profound sympathy to his family in their bereavement.
Mr Albanese (Leader of the Opposition) having seconded the motion and all Members present having risen, in silence—
Debate adjourned (Mr Porter—Leader of the House), and the resumption of the debate made an order of the day for the next sitting.
Mr Porter, by leave, moved—That the order of the day be referred to the Federation Chamber for debate.
