A message from the House of Representatives was reported transmitting for the concurrence of the Senate the following bill:

 Message no. 431, dated 29 October 2009—A Bill for an Act to amend the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and to deal with consequential and transitional matters arising from the enactment of that Act, and for related purposes.

The Parliamentary Secretary for Social Inclusion (Senator Stephens) moved—That this bill may proceed without formalities and be now read a first time.
