ELECTORAL MATTERS—JOINT STANDING COMMITTEE—LEAVE TO MEET DURING SITTING

Senator O'Brien, by leave and on behalf of the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters, moved—That the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters be authorised to hold a public meeting during the sitting of the Senate today, from 12.45 pm to 1.45 pm, to take evidence for the committee's inquiry into the 2007 Federal Election, including the Commonwealth Electoral (Above-the-Line Voting) Amendment Bill 2008.
