SALES TAX ASSESSMENT (REFUNDS FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC INTEREST AND CHARITABLE
BODIES) AMENDMENT BILL 1995

Senator Watson, pursuant to notice of motion not objected to as a formal

motion, moved--That the following bill be introduced:

A Bill for an Act to amend the Sales Tax Assessment Act 1992 to enable

certain public interest and charitable bodies to claim a refund of

sales tax, and for related purposes.

Question put and passed.

Senator Watson presented the bill and moved--That this bill may proceed

without formalities and be now read a first time.
