Schacht) moved--That these bills may proceed without formalities, may be

taken together and be now read a first time.

Explanatory memorandum: Senator Schacht tabled a revised

explanatorymemorandum relating to the Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (No.

1) 1995.

Pursuant to the order of the Senate of 29 November 1994, the debate was

adjourned and the resumption of the debate made an order of the day for

the first day of the winter sittings 1995.

Consideration of legislation: Senator Schacht moved--That the

Parliamentary Contributory Superannuation Legislation Amendment Bill

1995, the Tax Law Improvement (Substantiation) Bill 1994 and the

Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (No. 1) 1995 be listed on the Notice Paper

as separate orders of the day.
