that further questions be placed on notice.

Proposed suspension of standing orders: The Leader of the Opposition in

the Senate (Senator Hill), pursuant to contingent notice, moved--That so

much of standing orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Hill

moving a motion that questions may be put to Ministers until 28

questions, including supplementary questions, have been asked and


Debate ensued.

Senator Hill, by leave, withdrew the motion.
