APPROPRIATION BILL (NO. 3) 1982-83

Order of the Day read for the adjourned debate on the motion of the Minister for Resources and Energy (Senator Walsh)-That this Bill be now read a second time.

Senator Haines moved an amendment, viz: At end of motion, add '', but the Senate is of the opinion that the Votes contained in the Schedule to this Bill should be referred to the appropriate Estimates Committees for examination and report at the same time as the Additional Estimates for the year 1982-83 are referred to those Committees''.

Question-That the words proposed to be added be added-put and passed.
