The minister for immigration is in a position to take into account and provide exemptions for unaccompanied minors and for others, as the minister sees fit, who have particular vulnerabilities. That would be the mechanism by which the time that they could spend there is potentially affected. I have already explained that, with regard to indefinite detention, the principle that we are applying is one of no advantage, and that does not specify a period of time, as this amendment seeks to do.
