The PRESIDENT (15:53): At 8.30 am today, three proposals were received in accordance with standing order 75. The following proposal from Senator Xenophon was selected by lot:
Pursuant to standing order 75, I propose that the following matter of public importance be submitted to the Senate for discussion:
The urgent need for the Government to re-initiate the Future Frigate tender to permit Australian shipyards to take the lead role in the ship build.
Is the proposal supported?
