Senator BERNARDI (South Australia) (11:25): Minister, I think you made the point that the independent judiciary will be able to consider it, but only if the complaint is approved by the Attorney-General in the first place, and I just think that is fundamentally wrong. I think it is entirely flawed and indicative of how this has been put together at very short notice. You may respond to that later, but I have some other questions of clarification. The circumstances are that there has already been campaign material released, including videos online, memes in social media, various ads, posters and things. Will these need to be updated once this bill passes, which it will, to ensure that they comply with authorisations and any other requirements contained in this bill?
