Senator CONROY (Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy) (9:31 PM) —Senator Milne made the point that this is just another self-assessment. The entire Income Tax Assessment Act is self-assessment, so it is not inconsistent in any way. There are penalties if false information is supplied. It is quite clearly stated on the form, which I understand is on the website, which sets out that penalties may be imposed for giving false or misleading information. So, just like every other part of the tax act, it is self-assessment. You seemed to make something of that point. I am not sure that it is relevant. On the groundwater, I am seeking some more information. Senator Joyce, do not worry; we have not forgotten you. We will keep working on adding to your knowledge.
