Senator HARRADINE (10:21 PM) —A lot has been said in the second reading debate on the Family and Community Services Legislation Amendment (Special Benefit Activity Test) Bill 2002— which I certainly will not repeat at this hour of the night—and the points were very well made. I support these amendments. They at least ameliorate the situation. Frankly, the bill is making it harder for those with temporary visas, and this explains who those people are. I support the Labor amendments, as I think they are the minimum that should be accepted by the committee.
