Senator BARTLETT (Leader of the Australian Democrats) (7:12 PM) —The debate on this report has been adjourned and I would like to ensure that the debate continues. Again, this is a very important area and a very significant report. It contains a lot of useful information about the Democrats' perspective, from my colleague Senator Ridgeway, which I commend to the Senate. There needs to be a lot more government action to address this issue in a consistent way and not in a way that reduces the rights of the general public. I seek leave to continue my remarks later.

Leave granted; debate adjourned.
