Senator ALSTON (8.07 p.m.) —At this stage we are talking about Opposition amendment No. 4. In so far as disallowable instruments are concerned, our amendment No. 1 would provide for the guidelines on advertising and sponsorship to be tabled in the Parliament and therefore disallowed. But that is a separate exercise to this question of whether we need a community advisory committee. The view that is being shared around here at the moment is that it probably is not necessary, given the contents of clause 47(1)(e). So all of this is clearly without prejudice to our pursuing our amendment No. 1.
