Senator WALSH (Minister for Finance)(5.25) —I could not give a precise answer and I understand it would be very difficult to get one. But a rule of thumb is that contribution rates for statutory authorities are usually of the order of 20 per cent of salaries. Assuming that all Special Broadcasting Service employees were members of the Commonwealth superannuation scheme and were all on salaries and not paid under contract, the notional figure for which Senator Peter Rae is looking would be about 20 per cent of salaries. I will see whether any further information is available but the indications are that it would be very difficult to get it.
