Senator PETER BAUME —Mr Acting Deputy President, to be sure that I do not mislead the Senate I seek leave to clarify some figures I gave. I will only take a minute.

Leave granted.

Senator PETER BAUME —I thank the Senate. When I was discussing the funding of the participation and equity program for non-government schools I quoted some figures I had received from the Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia. I think I had the figures wrong and I want to make sure I give them correctly. Under the school to work transition program the figure was $264,000 in 1983. Under the participation and equity program in 1984 the figure was $357, 000. I think the figure of $264,000 in 1983 would be equivalent to about $290, 000 in real terms in 1984. I take it that the figure is a 20 per cent increase, the program of course increasing by close on 40 per cent.
