Australian Embassies

Petition to close down smaller Australian embassies and consulates worldwide as they are a drain on taxpayers money. A massive gravy train. The first one that I know of that needs closing is Vientiane as I can see very little reason for it being there. And there a a much bigger embassy in Bangkok.

We therefore ask the House to put a motion to close down the Australian consulates or embassies that do not pay their own way and are a waste of taxpayers money. The first embassy/consulate that needs to be closed down permanently is in Vientiane, Laos. The medical unit has already closed to cut costs.
