Mr ABBOTT (Minister for Health and Ageing) (8:30 PM) —On indulgence, I suggest a course of conduct for the rest of this evening's sitting. My understanding from Senate colleagues is that it is highly unlikely that the Senate will finish its business this evening. I am advised that the Senate is likely to go through until midnight and then reconvene at nine o'clock in the morning. Given that we will have to come back tomorrow anyway, it might suit the convenience of the House if we finish dealing with the free trade bills and the Senate messages here this evening and, once they have been concluded, suspend the sitting and come back at nine o'clock tomorrow morning.
