Mr ABBOTT (Minister for Health and Ageing) (2:01 PM) —I am always delighted when the opposition adopts government policy. It is another backflip, like the PBS backflip. The first scripted speech that I gave as Minister for Health and Ageing back in November last year was all about electronic health records and access to electronic health records. Not only did we make an announcement in the budget, but we have been getting on with the job. I happen to have in my hand a prototype Medicare smart card. I have it here, and the member for Lalor is welcome to inspect it. These cards will be rolling out in Tasmania from the end of July this year.
