Mr Martin Ferguson
asked the Minister for Transport and Regional Services, upon notice, on 3 March 2003:
Further to the answer to question No. 1180 (Hansard, 13 February 2003, page 903), how many single hulled bulk carriers worked on the Australian coastline in each of the past two years and of these, how many have been given single or continuing voyage permits to operate in Australia's domestic trade.

This information is not available, as applicants for coasting trade permits for bulk carriers are not required to provide information concerning whether the vessel has a single hull or a double hull.
