Ms GAMBARO —In the very short time I have available to me, I would like to congratulate the federal government on committing $100,000 towards the cost of the guide entitled Get Up and Go to encourage Australian seniors to travel. It was a very good launch on Saturday at Southbank for the Minister for Aged Care. This will encourage domestic tourism, particularly for the over-65s. The book is excellent. It provides handy travel tips on saving money, exciting destinations, transport and attractions. It is a very important segment of our domestic market. Seventy-five per cent of this age group spend almost $986 million in domestic travel annually, and 80 per cent of this group intend to travel.

Mr SPEAKER —Order! It being 2.00 p.m., the debate is interrupted in accordance with standing order 106A. The debate may be resumed at a later hour and the member will have leave to continue speaking when the debate is resumed.
