Mr SMITH(9.35 p.m.) —-This clause is opposed by the Opposition. It effectively says that the SBS shall not be subject to sales tax and we would desire that that particular clause be deleted as the SBS is becoming far more commercial. It should, like so many other government business enterprises, be subject to the normal taxation arrangements and sales tax is certainly a part of those arrangements that it should be subject to.
