Mr SIMMONS —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House- (1) notes that following the cessation of drought, the rate of infestation of Paterson's Curse has been very pronounced in South Eastern Australia;

(2) acknowledges the fact that, apart from problems caused to farmers by Paterson's Curse, great distress is caused to many people by allergies associated with close contact with Paterson's Curse; and

(3) urges the Minister for Health, in conjunction with the States, to expedite the preparation of legislation for the biological control of Paterson's Curse.
