Department: External social media and marketing cost

(Question No. 1105)

Mr Keogh asked the Minister representing the Minister for Communications and the Arts, in writing, on 12 September 2018:

In 2017-18, what sum was spent by the Minister's department on (a) external social media and marketing consultants and/or agencies, (b) boosting or sponsoring facebook posts, (c) boosting twitter posts, (d) advertising on (i) youtube, (ii) Google, and (iii) snapchat, and (e) sponsored Instagram posts.

Mr Fletcher: The answer to the member's question is as follows:

In 2017-18, the Department's expenditure on social media content was:

a) Nil

b) $4,118 (GST exclusive)

c) Nil

d) Nil

e) Nil
