CHAIR —On 26 June 1997 the Selection of Bills Committee recommended, and the Senate agreed, to refer the Administrative Decisions (Effect of International Instruments) Bill 1997 to this committee for inquiry and report by 23 September 1997. As usual, the committee wrote to interested organisations and individuals inviting them to lodge submissions on the bill.
