CHAIR —As the procedures indicate, the committee conducts matters such as these as nearly as possible consonant with normal committee procedures. One member of the committee is unable to attend the hearing today, whilst another has been appointed only recently. Accordingly, neither member will participate in any further deliberations of the committee on this matter.
