CHAIR —I declare open this school forum on the inquiry into
factors influencing the employment of young people. The purpose of the
inquiry is to consult widely and produce recommendations for government
action that will help promote the employment prospects of our youth. The
committee has conducted similar school forums in Queensland, New South
Wales,
