Treasurer’s Arrogance Highlighted

Only three out of 62 questions asked of the Treasury portfolio at Senate Estimate hearings in February have been answered by the due date of April 4.

This leaves 59 questions still waiting for a response.

Usually the Treasury assemble the answers by the due date, however, they have to be cleared by the Treasurer Mr Costello’s office before release.

Answers are delayed by the Treasurer, Mr Costello in his own office. He is a serial lateness offender

This is not the first time this has happened. Time and time again, Treasury answers are months over due.

This is the way the arrogant Treasurer acts before the Government takes control of the Senate on July 1 - it will be worse after.

Even the Treasurer’s own Liberal colleagues have expressed concern at the lateness of answers.
