THE QUEEN'S VISIT : OCTOBER 1973
The Queen's visit to Australia for the opening of the Sydney Opera House will begin with an arrival in Canberra on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 October. "
Her Majesty will be in Canberra for three days and will leave by air for Sydney on Saturday 20 October. Her departure from Australia will be from Sydney on Monday 22 October after attending an evening function at the Opera House.
The Queen's program of engagements in Canberra is as follows:

Afternoon Ceremonial arrival at RAAF Base, Canberra
Presentation of Ministers, df Parliament, Opposition at Government House
