WEST AUSTRALIAN EXERCISE FOR SENIOR SERVICE OFFICERS

Senior Army unit and formation commanders of

Field Force Command will., attend an exercise in the Albany

area of Western Australia, from November 4 to November 15,

designed as part of a series related to the study of the

defence of Australia.

The exercise, called Jarrah Stump, will deal with

amphibious operations and offensive operations of a division

The exercise also will include presentations on

logistic support and air defence.

The exercise, based on HMAS Stalwart, will be ,

conducted both at sea and ashore.

The exercise director is Major General Mark

Bradbury, General Officer Commanding Field Force Command,

Sydney.
