OVERSEAS VISIT FOR ARMY CHIEF

The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant

General D.B. Dunstan, leaves tomorrow (Wednesday,

September 27) for routine talks with Army leaders in

five countries.

During the six weeks tour he will visit military

installations in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, the

Federal Republic of Germany and India.

It will be the first official visit overseas

for Lieutenant General Dunstan since his appointment

as Chief of the General Staff in April last year.

He will return to Australia on November 8.
