HONORARY A.D.C. TO THS QUEEN

Brigadier T.R. Gibson, Director General of Military

----- Staff at the Department of Defence in Canberra, has been

appointed an Honorary Aide de Camp to The Queen.

Brigadier Gibson, who was born at Collie WA, and

who represented Western Australia at Rugby Union in 1949,

graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon in • ' · .·-> · · · . · .

He served in Wewak and Rabaul in 1945. From 1946-49

he attended the University of Western Australia, and gained,

a Bachelor of Engineering (civil) degree.

He has served in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and

Vietnam and was, in 1964, attached to the Snowy Mountains

Hydro Electric Authority.
