MONDAY. MAY 31 NO 117/76

Eighty headmasters and principals from schools throughout Australia

will visit the Royal Military College, Duntroon, in June.

The visits will be by two groups of 40, the first of which will be

at the College from tomorrow (Tuesday) until Friday. The second group will

visit between June 15 and June 18.

The visits, organised annually, are designed to show the work and

life of the Staff Cadet and to assist headmasters and principals in the

counselling of senior students interested in an Army career.

During the visits, the headmasters and principals will receive

briefings on the military and academic curriculum, the officer career pattern,

RMC selection procedures and will inspect College facilities. They also will

have discussions both with military and academic staff and with Staff Cadets

undergoing training.
