MINISTER FOR ABORIGINAL AFFAIRS

Wilson will visit Central Australia for the first time since taking up his new portfolio.

During his official visit the Minister will be meeting people and acquainting himself with Aboriginal organisations and communities.

meet the Mayor, Mr George Smith and Alice Springs Council representatives, including its Aboriginal Liaison Committee. Later that afternoon, the Minister will visit a number of local Aboriginal organisations.

On Thursday, Mr Wilson and the official party will fly to Willowra. The party will stay overnight at Ayers Rock.

The Ministerial visit will continue to Amata and Fregon in north­ western South Australia on Friday, May 28.

Mr Wilson will visit Mimili and Indulkana on on the Saturday and overnight in Alice Springs, departing the region on Sunday.
