THREE SOLDIERS SUFFER BURNS

Three members of 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment,

suffered burns when petrol soaked undergrowth ignited prematurely

during a burning off task in Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam, yesterday.

The men are; 2nd Lieutenant Do W» Kibbey, of Panelagh, Tas,

who is in 8th Field Ambulance at Nui Dat; Private F- V„ Wood, of Waroona,

WA, and Private R, J„ Craven, of Ferntree Gully, Vic, both of whom are

in the 1st Australian Field Hospital at Vung Tau„

All three are in a satisfactory condition»
