SOLDIER SERIOUSLY WOUNDED

An Australian soldier was seriously wounded when an enemy mine was

detonated by engineering roadwork plant in Phuoc Tuy Province, South

Vietnam, yesterday (July 21).

Wounded is Saucer A.T. Hunt, of Bendigo, Vic, a member of 1st Field

Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers.

He was evacuated to 1st Australian Field Hospital at Vung Tau where

his condition is described as serious.

Next of kin has been notified.
