' TWO SOLDIERS WOUNDED ACC IDENTALLY

. Two members of 4th Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, were

accidentally wounded by shrapnel when an artillery round fell short during

training in Phuoc Tuy Province on Wedhesday (July.8).

The accident occurred near the boundary of the 1st Task Force base

at Nui Pat. .

Wounded sure Ma.ior G.T. Salmon, of Townsville, Old, and Gunner

E.J. Bray, of Strathfield, NSW.

Both were evacuated to 1st Field Hospital, Vung Tau, where they

are in a satisfactory condition.

Next of kin have been notified.
