PHILIP RUDDOCK, M.P. SHADOW MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION & ETHNIC AFFAIRS

Mr Roy Leembruggen, M.T.E. Aust, designer and builder of the Townobile (R) BIO Electric Commuter Car/Van, will be in Canberra on 26 February 1985, to give a demonstration to Ministers, Senators, Members of Parliament and senior Public Servants of the Townobile vehicle.

A demonstration will take place outside Parliament House between 8.30 and 10 a.m. on Tuesday 26 February, 1985. ' Later that day a Lecture, Demonstration and Reception will take place at the Institution of Engineers, Australia

Headquarters Auditorium, 11 National Circuit, Barton, A.C.T. at 6 p.m.

The Townobile (R) BIO electric Commuter Car/Van will be demonstrated for the first time in Canberra on that d ate.

Many and varied electric road vehicles have been seen in Australia since 1905.

This unique electric vehicle has been engineered and developed in Australia after some 15 years' research and development by Mr Roy Leembruggen of Elroy Engineering Pty Ltd.
