MINISTERS TO ADDRESS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SEMINAR

The Minister for Small Business, Construction and Customs, David Beddail MP, and the ACT Minister for Urban Services, Terry Connolly, will address a Canberra seminar on the Government's Construction Industry Reform Strategy.

The Strategy provides a blueprint for creating a viable and competitive construction industry - worth some $40 billion each year - and has attracted the support of all the major partners including employers, unions and government.

More than 200 key construction industry people will gather at the Seminar in Canberra to hear the Minister for Small Business, Construction and Customs, David Beddail, the ACT Minister for Urban Services, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Development Agency, Ern MacDonald, speak

on the Refora Strategy.

The Ministers will be available for a Media Conference prior to the Seminar.

The Media Conference will begin at 9.45am, Thursday 2 April 1992, near the Bradman Theatrette, National Convention Centre, Constitution Avenue, Canberra. r"
