Telecom A ustTalia has described a call by Queensland Senator Boswell for a Senate Inquiry into its network operations as iH-consdidered and not the interests of customers.
Telecom customers who have concerns about the service they arc receiving should contact Telecom directly to have their concerns resolved. The Telecom Network successfully handles more than 11 billion calls per year, and Senator Boswell's aJiegations regarding the integrity of the network are not supported by Telecom's customer research, nor by its expensive monitoring of network operations.
â‘n1e specific assenations made by Senator Boswell about particular customers fails to acknowledge the many thousands of hours of testing and monitoring which has been undertaken to locate perceived problems, and the extensive consultation with individual customers.
Customers with queries or concerns regarding their servi<.;es would not be advantaged by a time consuming Senate Inquiry. Their concerns will be more effectively addressed by contacting Telecom direct! y.
